Creating a Platform for Social Hiring

As any fast-moving organization can appreciate, at Leapfrog we often focus so heavily on client results that we neglect to apply our proven best practices to our own internal operations.

We’re always looking for smart ways to practice what we preach – and that means implementing sound digital processes to drive transformative results.

For our clients, these results are measured in the form of new customers or revenue. But the reality is that these digital innovations can span every part of an organization’s activities.

Take HR. It’s no secret that social media has had a dramatic impact on the hiring process over the past several years. This is one area where we’re drinking our own Kool-Aid and reinforcing our digital presence at Leapfrog.

One of our initiatives in the last part of 2011 is to open up and put our culture on display. Here’s a recent video from Amy Weir, our Director of HR, highlighting what we’re looking for in candidates.

We’ve also implemented LinkedIn application buttons to socialize the process of applying, reduce time for candidates to apply, and ease HR’s resume review process.
