Leapfrog Online at Techweek: How Data is Changing Modern Marketing

by Leigh Segall on June 26, 2012

Today, Leapfrog Online’s EVP Cass Baker and SVP Joel Grossman closed out the last day of Techweek 2012 with a discussion of how data is changing the game for modern marketing organizations.

As we’ve spoken about in the past, the 2012 CMO has the hottest seat in the C-suite, and the increased pressure is causing top CMOs to adapt quickly with the changing marketing landscape. Specifically, marketing initiatives are more measurable than ever before, and this means value can be proven—or disproven—based on hard metrics. Smart marketing organizations are using data and analytics to enhance the customer experience and directly impact revenue. By learning more about high-value segments and their preferred path to purchase, cutting-edge technology isn’t simply the newest shiny object—it’s innovation that can be leveraged to tie the total brand experience together, whether customer interaction is digital, phone, or in-store. Most importantly, data and analytics are the modern marketers tools to close the loop between marketing and sales.

Leapfrog Online was proud to be invited to speak at Techweek 2012. Thanks to everyone involved for making the event a success and inspiring us to continue working hard to find new innovations and data-driven marketing solutions.
